Wolf Track Films is an Independent Production Company managed by Rob Murray, with a network of freelance filmmakers; focusing on natural history filmmaking with a human story element. The latest Independent production is Valley of the Bears, a feature length documentary on human-bear conflict in the Bella Coola Valley, on the North West coast of British Columbia. After changing careers, from Aerospace Engineering into Wildlife Filmmaking, Rob set out on making his first independent production, Valley of the Bears.
During the production, Wolfgang Knoepfler came onboard as Executive Producer, along with Story Consultants, Steve Barnes and Matt Thompson. After completion of Post-Production in 2021, the documentary first premiered at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, Montana; hosting a special ‘living with bears’ panel with bear specialists, Conservation Officers and Conservationists. Valley of the Bears has since made commercial success by securing three international broadcast licensing deals.

MAR-2022: BOMANBRIDGE MEDIA CONTRACT
Rob Murray has signed with Bomanbridge Media under Wolf Track Films, for the Distribution of Valley of the Bears.
NOV-2021: BRISTOL INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL 2021 – WINNER
Valley of the Bears has been officially awarded Best Documentary for the BIFF 2021, with some 1,400 titles which were considered for this years competition.
