ABOUT US

WolfTrack Films is an independent film production company creating authentic, cinematic documentaries and branded films about people, places and the world around us.

Founded and directed by filmmaker Rob Murray, WolfTrack Films develops and produces visually-led stories from concept through production and post-production. With experience across documentary, natural history, conservation and brand storytelling.

WolfTrack Films works with a network of experienced freelance filmmakers and international production partners, creating films for broadcasters, brands and digital audiences where the focus is always the same: finding compelling stories and telling them with cinematic craft, authenticity and purpose.

OUR WORK | COLLABORATIONS

WolfTrack Films combines striking cinematography with compelling, character-led storytelling, creating films that explore the relationship between people, places and the natural world. Rooted in natural history and environmental storytelling, its films place equal importance on the human stories, perspectives and experiences at the heart of each subject.

The company’s debut feature documentary, Valley of the Bears, exemplifies this approach. Filmed in British Columbia’s Bella Coola Valley, the film explores human-bear conflict and the challenges of coexistence between people and wildlife, combining immersive natural-history cinematography with an intimate and nuanced human story.

COEXISTENCE | RESEARCH | CONSERVATION

Wolf Track Films works with universities, researchers and conservation organisations to turn important research into compelling, cinematic films.

From environmental science and wildlife research to conservation and human–wildlife coexistence, we translate complex ideas into accessible stories that engage audiences beyond academia.

Working from research concept through to production and post-production, Wolf Track Films can provide filming, interviewing, cinematography and editing — creating films that bring research to life and communicate its wider relevance.
